Attention fantastic filmmakers! From today and until the 7th of June you can submit your feature films, shorts and music documentaries to the 9th Grossmann Fantastic Film and Wine Festival which will take place from the 15th to the 20th of July in Ljutomer, Slovenia. You can also enter our Little Workshop of Horrors, submission deadline is the 1st of July.

Feature films will compete for Grossmann’s most prestigious award, the Vicious Cat 2013.

Besides the Slak's Vicious Cat 2013 award for Best Short Film, short films will also compete for the Melies d’Argent 2013 award which will enable the winner to compete for the Melies d’Or award, given to the Best European Fantastic Short Film 2013 by the European Fantastic Film Festival Federation (EFFFF) at the end of the year’s festival cycle.

Submissions are also open for the Noisy Cat 2013 award for Best Music Documentary.

The fierce challenge Little Workshop of Horrors invites all guerrilla filmmakers to make a short film during the festival, following the footsteps of the legendary Roger Corman, receiver of Grossmann's Lifetime Achievement Award 2008, by making a short genre film in two days and one night during the festival.

Feature live-action and animated films that will not be selected into competition programs will be considered for other festival‘s categories.
