Anne Hathaway playing Catwoman in the Dark Knight Rises

The next Batman installment, “The Dark Knight Rises,” will feature Hathaway as Catwoman. Hathaway rose to prominence largely featuring in Disney teen comedies. Hardy has been cast as “Bane,” who will likely be the chief bad guy in the film. It will be the final within the series from director Nolan. He won’t be getting any more unsecured loans to produce more films. Post resource - Anne Hathaway confirmed as Catwoman in the Dark Knight Rises by MoneyBlogNewz.

Ann Hathaway hired by Chris Nolan as Catwoman

Anne Hathaway will be playing “Catwoman” in the next “Batman” to come out, states Entertainment Weekly. Christopher Nolan will once again be directing it. Nolan won’t be directing anymore after this last one with the title, "The Dark Knight Rises”. Films for Anne Hathaway have been much more severe than what she became famous for. The Disney “The Princess Diaries” is what she became famous for. The character Catwoman who Bruce Wayne/Batman typically has a love for in the comics is who she will be playing acting as Selina Kyle. Halle Berry was “Catwoman” last which ended up being a failure that several were disappointed in.

Tom Hardy connects to cast as bad guy

Tom Hardy will be the actor that plays “Bane.” This is the villain that, in the comic, breaks Batman’s back. Tom Hardy is perhaps best known for his role in Nolan's film "Inception.". Matthey Vaughan’s “Layer Cake,” Guy Ritchie’s “Rock and Rolla” and the story about British pioneer “Bronson” are other movies. He is known for all of them. Also, the role of Upset Max within the next Angry Max series film is what Hardy is rumored to be doing.

Last Nolan directed Batman

Nolan will not be making anymore Batman films after this one which will be released in 2012. Bruce Wayne/Batman will continue to be played by Christian Bale although he plans on not doing any more Batman films either. The final 2 films he did were of the most successful. This is within the last ten years of films, of course.
