                        Anna's Story ( a journey through change)

Change is all around us.  It’s occurring right now.  Sometimes good, other times not so good, yet always happening.  It’s occurring right now.  So much change occurs yet we rarely notice it.  We are too busy or too involved in our lives to notice it going on.  What change we often notice is the dramatic and emotional change that we see in other people.  But all we see is the surface, rarely seeing the deep impact change has on others.  “Anna's Story” is a short film where we find ourselves stepping out of our lives….for a moment…to actually see the deep impact of change in someone’s life.  That person is Anna, a sweet young girl whose life is touched from an early age by dramatic change.  Our connection with Anna is immediate, heartfelt and enduring.  It is my hope that this film will touch you and help you to reflect on change in your own life.  Stay tuned…..In production now.

Words from the Cast of Anna's Story

"Anna's Story" is a love-story evolution. It is a story celebrating the beauty & power of that first glance with a beloved, and the poignancy & pain of a final goodbye. These are moments that so many of us have experienced and hold dear to our hearts, and it is that shared experience that draws me to "Anna's Story". In portraying the character of Dave, it is my sincere hope to not only highlight the humanity & universal hope in this everyday man, but to do so with the intent of supporting the message of love and communion that is the true gift of "Anna's Story".

  Eric Riedmann( Dave)

I love what my character, Stephanie, stands for regarding "change"; the theme of the film.  She grows and changes though circumstances that are out of her control without giving up her through-line of choosing and remaining committed to her husband.  Very often in life and in movies we see "change" as casually moving from one relationship to another.  We've become numb to the meaning of marriage, yet Instead of looking old-fashioned or submissive, Stephanie's strength comes out as she's telling her beloved what he has meant to her over the years.  I wanted to be part of this film that shows such a committed woman finishing life's race with hope and love.

Deborah Tucker (Stephanie)

I accepted the role of Mark because his sequence in the film, everything from his dialogue to his interaction with friends reminds me of my college life. I really fell in love with the script because it shows how every persons life is like a movie, and that everyone is the star from begging to end. My favorite part is how it interprets one person's story through flash backs up until their death, then transitions into the beginning of another s story yet to be told.,

Tyler Johnson ( Mark)

I am very excited about the project. I like my character Karri because she is so different then me in my own life. I like how Karri is so feisty and she thinks she is the most important person ever.It is a very fun character to play.

Kaycee Jean Cossan ( Karri)

The role of the "dorm monitor" is a smaller role in the film yet it's one that compliments the flavor that I bring as an actor, to hopefully make the part memorable--which is all I can ask for.
Jonathan Bryant, "Dorm Monitor"

I'm really excited about my role as young Anna in Anna's Story.  I've always loved acting, ever since I was real little.  From my first performances in Missoula Children's Theater productions to school plays, I've always wanted to act.  After getting my first part as an extra in a Vegas produced short movie, I was looking forward to getting my first real role.  Frank has provided me that start with this dramatic role.  Anna represents to me such a strong person..   Being able to be that person and portray her emotion and strength will be a wonderfully exciting challenge.  I also look forward to working with all the experienced actors.  Working with these great people will be such a learning experience for me.  I look forward to gaining so much from them and, hopefully, giving them something back in return...together making Anna's Story a top hit at the film festivals and getting picked up and made into a full length movie!!  Here's to all of us walking down the red carpet together!!
Makayla Kostiner
(Young Anna)
I accepted the role of adult Anna because she is a pivotal character in bringing the story together and resolving the film. The script takes you through several lifetimes full of laughs, tears and the realities of life--but it's Anna at the end that has the power to make the audience feel as though everything is going to be okay, that "we're all going to be just fine". I think that's a powerful responsibility, and I'm excited to take on the challenge of conveying change, struggle, and the realization of a sense of peace within oneself and the world.

Anna's Story is full of emotion and is meant to move the audience. I hope to do my part by bringing life to the character of the Nurse. I think that she became a nurse because she is a compassionate and dedicated woman. She feels she has something to give and helping others at their most vulnerable is her way of giving. She witnesses patients and their visitors going through changes on a daily basis. It all has an impact on her and changes her, too.
