Edition 2014: du 4 au 13 avril / Le festival présente une centaine de films, tous genres confondus, en provenance des pays d’Orient et d’Occident, et mettant en valeur un cinéma de qualité bousculant les normes et enclenchant des dynamiques de transformation des mentalités. La programmation explore les sociétés orientales dans leur diversité et interroge les frontières entre l’Orient et l’Occident, et ce à travers des fictions, des documentaires et des courts-métrages inédits ou peu connus en Suisse. Le FIFOG cherche également à initier des débats sur des thèmes touchant aussi bien à l’Orient qu’à l’Occident, à offrir une plate-forme d’expression pour les jeunes réalisateurs suisses et orientaux, et à favoriser le dialogue et la compréhension interculturelle.
