Les films envoyés seront attentivement visionnés par les membres du FILAF.
Pour les films en compétition, le jury délibère pendant le festival et les lauréats, le FILAF d’Or, le FILAF d’Argent et le Prix Spécial du Jury seront annoncés le jour même. Il s’agit de prix honorifiques.
Dans la mesure du possible, le FILAF contribuera à inviter le réalisateur de chacun des films en compétition à venir présenter son film au public de Perpignan, pendant le festival.
All the films received will be closely watched by the FILAF members.
For the films in competition, the jury will deliberate during the festival and the winners of the FILAF d’Or, the FILAF d’Argent and Prix special du Jury will be announced on the same day.
The prizes are purely honor prizes (no money).
When possible, the FILAF will participate to the transport of the director of each film in competition to come to Perpignan and present his film to the public during the festival.
Une programmation hors-compétition complète la sélection avec des rétrospectives, coups de coeur, prix d’honneur et avant-premières de films que le festival tient particulièrement à souligner. Pour le hors compétition, il n’y a pas de conditions de durée ni d’année, tous les films à caractère documentaire sont recevables.
A program out of competition will complete the selection with retrospectives, coup de coeur, honor guests, and previews of movies that the festival wishes to highlight. There is no selective criteria of length or year, all documentary films are welcome.

- synopsis de 100 mots maximum / synopsis of a 100 words maximum
- date de la première / date of the première
- coordonnées des producteur et distributeur / contact of the Producer and distributor.
- L’ensemble des boites de production à mentionner / Full credit for the production.

CONDITIONS D’ELIGIBILITE POUR LA COMPETITION – TERMS OF ELIGIBILITY FOR THE COMPETITION
1/ Film à caractère documentaire au sujet des arts plastiques ( ou autre champ artistique
ayant un lien fort avec les arts plastiques)
Documentary film about visual arts (or other artistic field having a strong link with the visual
arts).
2/ Film sorti en 2015 ou 2016 / Film issued between 2015 and 2016
3/ Film d’une durée minimum de 52 minutes / Minimum length of 52 minutes
4/ Les films soumis doivent être en VO, sous-titrés en français pour les films étrangers. Si la
traduction française n’existe pas, ils doivent obligatoirement comporter une traduction
anglaise./ Films submitted must be in original version, subtitled in French for foreign films. If the French
translation does not exist, they must necessarily include an English translation.

REGLEMENT – RULES
Tous les films sont projetés dans les salles du cinéma Movida/ Le Castillet, partenaire du FILAF.
All films are screened in the theater halls of Ciné Movida / Castillet, partner of the FILAF.
Il n’y a aucun frais d’inscription pour soumettre un film, en contrepartie aucun frais de
projection, ni aucun pourcentage des recettes des entrées ne seront versés aux distributeurs du film soumis.
There are no entry fees for registering the films, in return no screening fees, nor any
percentage on the visitors’ entrances will be paid to the distributors of the film concerned.
Tous les DVD des films reçus deviennent propriétés de l’association Cogito qui organise le
FILAF et seront conservés en tant qu’archives de chaque édition. Aucun film ne sera
retourné.
All the DVD copies received become the property of the association Cogito that organizes
the FILAF and will be kept as archives of every edition. No film will be returned.
Si un film est retenu en compétition, il devra être fourni en haute définition aux formats DVD,
Blu-ray ou DCP pour la projection.
If a film is selected in competition, it should be provided in high definition on DVD, Blu-ray or
DCP formats for the screenings.
L’usage des films est strictement réservé aux projections programmées pendant le FILAF.
En parallèle du festival, le FILAF intervient toute l’année dans des établissements scolaires
par le biais d’actions pédagogiques. Dans ce cadre, il se réserve le droit de projeter un film
sélectionné, en accord avec le réalisateur qui sera informé.
Le FILAF s’engage à ne projeter aucun film sans l’accord préalable du réalisateur.
The use of a film is strictly reserved to its screenings during the FILAF.
Apart from the festival, the FILAF works with schools throughout the year, organizing
educational activities. In this context, the FILAF has the right to screen a selected film, in
agreement with the film director that will be contacted before.
No film will be screened without the prior approval of its director.
Si un film n’est pas retenu pour la compétition, le FILAF se réserve le droit de proposer au
réalisateur de l’inclure dans la programmation complémentaire hors-compétition.
If a film is not selected for the competition, the FILAF can include it in the off competition
program with the approval of the film director.
Les films primés seront projetés à l’occasion de la foire internationale d’art contemporain
(FIAC) au mois d’octobre suivant le festival, au Grand Palais, à Paris, sans frais de
projection.
The awarded films will be screened during the international contemporary art fair (FIAC), in
octobre after the FILAF, at the Grand Palais in Paris, without screening fees.
