Cinema Passion Festival will pay a tribute to screenwriter/director Thomas Gilou and will screen Victor his lates comedy, in release in France as we speak.

The film cast will accompany Thaomas Gilou: Bruno Solo, Lambert Wilson, José Garcia and Messaoud Hattou.

Thomas Gilou has more than one string to his bow.
After directing numerous short films, including "La combine de la giraffe" (a Cesar award nominee in 1983), he took up feature filmmaking in 1986.
His first features, "Black Mic Mac" (1986) and "Rai"(1995), deliberately rooted in social reality, attracted considerable attention. But it was above all with the highly successful "Would I Lie to You?" (1997) that Gilou made a name for himself. His filmography highlights his desire to take a look, with each new film, at a different community: African in "Black Mic Mac," North African in "Rai," Jewish in "Would I Lie to You?" and Chilean in "Chili Con Carne."
Gilou followed these up with the sequel to "Would I Lie to You?," released in France in 2001.
Victor his latest comedy is currently opening in France.
