European Film Awards with Cinema Stars from Across EuropeWhen the 28th European Film Awards return to Berlin on 12 December, there will be an impressive line-up of European actors and actresses presenting the individual awards: Among them will be actresses Laura Birn (Finland), Elisa Sednaoui (Italy), Ana Ularu (Romania) and Carice van Houten (the Netherlands) and their male colleagues Carlos Areces (Spain), Johannes Bah Kuhnke (Sweden), Daniel Brühl (Germany), Javier Cámara (Spain), Jesper Christensen (Denmark), Grigoriy Dobrygin (Russia), Sasson Gabay (Israel), Jakub Gierszał (Poland), Johan Heldenbergh (Belgium), Reda Kateb (France), Ulrich Matthes (Germany), Alexander Skarsgård (Sweden). They will also be joined by directors Isabel Coixet (Spain), Stephen Daldry (UK), François Ozon (France) and Paweł Pawlikowski (Poland) as well as EFA Chairwoman Agnieszka Holland and EFA President Wim Wenders. The 900 guests – winners, nominees and EFA Members will again be welcomed by German TV host, author and director Thomas Hermanns who will lead through the evening as the show’s host. Renowned German actor Burghart Klaußner will sing a special tribute for Paris and a group of experienced master students from the Flying Steps Academy Berlin, directed by award-winning performer Sebi Jaeger will perform a special international "Welcome to Berlin" choreography. Among the guests this year will also be the actors and actresses Numan Acar, Alicja Bachleda-Curus, Detlev W. Buck, Fares Fares, Alina Levshin, Antoine Monot and Johanna ter Steege, directors Călin Peter Netzer and Volker Schlöndorff, jury members Anna Asp (production designer, Sweden), Daniela Ciancio (costume designer, Italy), Uberto Pasolini (director/ producer, UK), Adam Sikora (cinematographer, Poland), Kjartan Sveinsson (composer, Iceland), Monika Willi (editor, Austria), and the recipients of the honorary awards Charlotte Rampling, Sir Michael Caine and Christoph Waltz. 09.12.2015 | European Film Awards's blog Cat. :
