Producer Sabine Brantus (ARTE), festival programmers Laurent Crouzeix (Clermond-Ferrand International Short Film Festival) and Jukka-Pekka Laakso (Tampere Film Festival), and distributor Jan Naszewski (New Europe Film Sales), all passionately dedicated to the short form, talk about the different ways to present your short film. This panel will consider the reasons for and advantages of making a short, how to find the right presentation context and how to make the most out of your film through distribution, sales, festivals, etc.

A SUNDAY IN THE COUNTRY - REUNION

A Sunday in the Country is a special EFA initiative bringing together a group of young European filmmakers (and, since 2012, also journalists) and a few established EFA Members for the course of a weekend. The private atmosphere guarantees a platform for inspiration and for an open-minded encounter. It is an exchange between different generations of filmmakers from various cultural backgrounds. This special encounter unites all those who have been part of a Sunday in the Country over the years...

The European Film Awards are presented in 15 categories and take place in Berlin every second year.

The 2013 edition returns to Berlin this December.

After Paris, Glasgow, London, Rome, Barcelona, Warsaw, Copenhagen, Bochum, Tallinn and Valletta the European Film Awards 2014 will take place in Riga,  Saturday, 13 December 2014
