A UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD HAPPY HOLIDAYS SEASON!

“Papa, the mushroom soup, of the Toadstool café, is such a delight!”, and so we are, after 16 years, still coming to celebrate the end of the year Holidays at Universal Studios Hollywood !

Just because we love it and because it feels like a real Christmas celebration with the Grinchmas set up, with all your favorite characters including Mr. Grinch himself!

As we got to the park, and I recommend getting there as early as it opens, we rushed to the ‘Super Nintendo World’ as my boys were adamant about eating at the iconic Toadstool Café! It took us a little bit of luck, scanning the QR code to register for a precious seat inside the limited space restaurant. But we did it! A few hours after we were sharing some yummy food: toadstool cheesy garlic knots, two bowls (you keep the bowls shaped like a toad mushroom!) of a super delicious mushroom soup and one “out of this world”,  ‘Luigi Burger’ with grilled chicken, basil pesto, Swiss cheese, green pepper and spinach on a brioche bun and served with a side of truffle French fries! Is your mouth watering or what?!

Spending time after lunch in the Super Nintendo World and being able to partake to the ‘Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge’, twice, was such an adrenaline rush. You truly feel as if you are immersed in a video game as you ride through the castle of Bowser, riding your super Mario kart and letting the fast and furious within you, rule the day! Talking about ‘Fast and Furious’, one must attraction is the ‘Studio Tour’ which include a breathtaking ‘Fast and Furious: Supercharged’, 3-D ride. You will insanely feel like you are drifting into the mad world of Vin Diesel franchise. Universal Studios is truly a magic place for the Holidays as everybody is in such a joyful mood. Talking of magic, one cannot avoid the enchanting light show in the land of Harry Potter. Witness ‘The magic of Christmas at Hogwarts castle’ with a breathtaking light show projected on the walls of the castle. For a long moment you will be transported far away from the “mondaine” daily struggle of your existence.

As the night sets on the Studios and before returning home, on your flying broomstick, why not get a “fish and chips” or a family large dinner feast plate at ‘The Three Broomsticks’ restaurant. This will give you the right amount of energy to face the Hollywood traffic.

To close 2023 with a big smile, why not join Universal Studios Hollywood big New Year’s Party?! The celebration will start at 9:00pm on December 31^st with the park extending his hours and with special dancing area with special DJs all night long! There will be a countdown to midnight with a magic firework show when comes the time to join 2024. So, don’t wait and book your tickets right now! You will even be able to cheers to the new year with a glass of Champagne! Is this so Hollywood like or what! Feel like a movie Star and join the celebration!
