The New York Television Festival (NYTVF) today announced Emmy Award-winning writer and producer Ronald D. In addition to the keynote address, the day will feature writers and executives from "30 Rock," Fox Television Studios, VH1, IFC, Telenext Media and The PIT.

Moore, whose television credits include Executive Producer of the Peabody award winning "Battlestar Galactica," writer and Co-Executive Producer on "Star Trek" and Executive Producer on the upcoming SyFy series "Caprica," will deliver his keynote address at 6:00 pm to close out NYTVF Development Day.

Since we started the festival in 2005, a large part of our mission has been to engage and inspire emerging writers and producers," said NYTVF founder Terence Gray. "Ron Moore's work as a writer and creator has illustrated what television can and should be for a whole generation of young artists. We are honored to have him with us at the NYTVF."
