THE SHORT FILM CORNER, A SHORT FILM MARKET IN CANNES
The Marché du Film is launching the Short Film Corner, a new market dedicated entirely to short films.
The Short Film Corner represents a means for short films to play an invigorating part in the economy of the film industry by putting them in direct contact with production, distribution and broadcasting networks in a vast area of the Palais des Festivals, incorporating screening rooms and interactive screens.
Professionals from all over the world, festival programmers, buyers, producers and distributors will be able to discover the best in world production and present, buy and sell short films of all origins, thus encouraging their distribution and promotion.
This panorama of present-day international creation will also present the short films chosen by the Festival for the Competition, as well as those of the Cinéfondation and the Résidence du Festival.

A catalogue of the Short Film Corner will be distributed at the beginning of the Festival. It will list all the short films presented, together with their screening times.
