Pomona Valley Film Festival Awards

The 11th Annual Pomona Valley Film Festival
FESTIVAL RESULTS
This year was absolutely fabulous with almost 1000 in attendance throughout the weekend. Being hosted by the Pomona Fox Theater was a dream come true!
Our patrons were gifted with a wonderful mix of Drama, Documentaries, Comedy, and Animation. Door prizes were awarded nightly and Cake was served on Friday, April 24 by the Friends of the Pomona Fox in honor of the 78th Anniversary of the Fox Theater original Grand Opening.
Prizes for Best films will be awarded a $100 contest prize while prizes for Honorary Mention will be awarded $50. As well, Showbiz Software has provided valuable Budgeting, Producer and Scheduling software for the winners. Awards for the Audience Choice, or Weldon Awards were also provided nightly after the filmmaker Q & A sessions held at the dA Center for the Arts, the jewel in the crown of the Pomona Downtown Arts Colony.

There is no monetary prize for Director's Choice awards, only certificates and the pride of knowing that our judges had such a difficult time making the choices!
A special note of gratitude to our judges, Marty Ollstein, Valerie Ross, and Stacey Davies (www.smogdance.com/2009/jury09.html ) who had the difficult task of selecting the winners. Also a huge "Thank you!" to Showbiz Software (www.showbizsoftware.com) for providing software valued at $2,700 as filmmaker prizes!
