The Sundance Channel has joined the 2004 Phoenix Film Festival as the official presenting sponsor for the April 1-4 event. The prestigious channel will provide promotional support for the 2004 Festival over Cox Cable, and will provide special programming for screenings year round by the Festival Insiders group.

Sundance will also be sponsoring a Festival Tribute to Peter Fonda. The star of the 70’s classic “Easy Rider” and many other films will be appearing in person on Saturday evening, April 3rd for a clip show, conversation and screening of the restored 1971 film “The Hired Hand”, starring and directed by Fonda.
