Philippe Queau 1Philippe Queau has been the director of the Information and Informatics Division at UNESCO since July 1996. Previously, he was the Research Director at INA (French Audiovisual Institute) where his endeavors in the virtual reality and tele-virtuality sectors debuted in 1980. At INA, he also co-founded Imagina in 1981 and was responsible for the scientific program up to 1997. Quéau received a telecommunication engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique and a doctorate in information and communications.
