Mumbai International Film Festival highlights

Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) rated as one of the most important top five International events held around the globe.

9th edition of Mumbai International Film Festival, happening between February 3-9, 2006; will be an unique festival amalgamating short films, documentaries, animation and electronic films. For well over a decade, it has been playing a pivotal role in identifying and promoting newer vistas in the genre of cinema. MIFF has always been receptive to experimentation in form and content and recognizes the creative output of technological advancement. It is always a catalyst to spirit of competition and search for excellence and therefore it is currently rated as one of the most important top five International events out of 2500 such major events held around the globe. Probably this is the only documentary film festival offering a whopping amount of Rs.27.50 lakhs as the total prize money and around 500 films are screened during the festival.

This year besides the competition section, MIFF is coming up with a special packages & retrospectives for its delegates. For delegate registration & further details, all interested individuals/organisations may contact the registration unit of Films Division @ www.miffindia.org or mail to miff2006@gmail.com
