Mirrorball celebrates 10th at Edinburgh Fest

It was a legendary night packed with phat, funky beats, and three floors of delirious dancing. Mirrorball parties always rock, and this being the 10th anniversary celebration, was clearly no exception.

On The Venue's top floor, people were feeling the love as Stuart Bennett warmed the crowd up for Scottish DMC champion Ritchie Rufftone. In the middle floor Funkstörung’s Michael Fakesch got everybody movin’ with his unique blend of melodic electric beats and gritty hip hop tracks, while way downstairs Modern Lovers' Craig Jamieson was spinning house and funky beats.

At 1AM, the night was still young as The Streets’ Mr. Meaks tore up the decks with his funk- infested scratching. Meanwhile, in the sweaty cave that had become the middle room, James Lavelle (Mo’ Wax| UNKLE) really got people going with a kickin' set of his signature eclectic mix. Finally, BreakItDown’s Steven Foulds rocked the joint ‘til the wee, wee hours of the morning.

All in all, it was a kick a** way to celebrate Mirrorball's tenth birthday.
