Out of all submission, roughly 200 films are selected for the competitions of the Hamburg International ShortFilmFestival each year. There are several awards in each section as well as cross-competition prizes, all in all adding up to more than 30.000 euro in prize money. The winners will be announced on Sunday, 7 June 2009 at the Award Ceremony.
