FORT LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
October 14 - November 20 2005

The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival presents the most compelling and thought-provoking international films, host special tributes and seminars and introduces some of the greatest talents to South Florida audiences. One of seven Vital Local Cultural Institutions of Florida and the 5th Major Cultural Institution of Broward County, the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival is a non-profit cultural institution.

The Festival showcases over 100 films from Europe, Asia, Africa and around the globe and is considered one of the most important regional festivals in the U.S. FLIFF unites industry leaders, filmmakers, journalists, students and film lovers for cutting-edge educational seminars, celebrity tributes, special events, premieres, and a vast array of foreign, American independent, short-subject, documentary and retrospective classic films throughout the year at its year-round arthouse theatre, Cinema Paradiso, and at various locations throughout South Florida.
