San Francisco Green Film Fest Moves to Fall

San Francisco Green Film Festival
Save the Date: Opening Night at Castro Theatre, September 6

San Francisco Green Film Festival is pleased to announce that Green Film Fest 2018 will open in September to align with the Global Climate Action Summit.

“We are excited to open the 8th annual festival in September when green leaders from around the world will come to San Francisco to support the Paris Climate Agreement,” said SFGFF’s Founder & CEO, Rachel Caplan. “With the planet heating up, environmental protections at risk, and political forces in flux, Green Film Fest 2018 will serve our audiences, filmmakers, campaigns and causes with inspiring and entertaining stories that seek solutions and stimulate action.”

Green Film Fest 2018 will launch on September 6 with a spectacular Opening Night at the Castro Theatre. Other festival venues will include Roxie, 518 Valencia, Bayview Opera House, and San Francisco Public Library.

Film & guest highlights will be announced in June. A full press conference with the complete line-up of programs, guests, and venues will be held in August. Visit greenfilmfest.org for the latest information.
