Documentary Film Competition for Young People CALLING

 DOK20_education_banner_wettbewerb_1200px.png

You can handle the camera and have experienced something? Then tell us a story from your life! What is important to you? What is happening with you, what is happening with your friends? Do you have the courage and the openness to look closely? Grab your camera, your smartphone or the iPad, show us your view of LIFE! and submit your documentary film to us!

All pupils from Bavaria - from primary school to vocational high school - can take part in the competition. Your film should be 3 to 20 minutes long and show a moment from real life. Dare, be creative, show us your pictures! The deadline for entries is 25 March 2020.

Our most important cooperation partner and prize donor is the largest professional organization of teachers in Bavaria, the Bavarian Teachers' Association BLLV e.V. In addition to the prizes with a total value of 1,300 euros, there will also be an audience vote – take a look at our website after the closing date for entries.

The awards ceremony will take place during the Munich International Documentary Film Festival on May 17, 2020 at the Munich University of Television and Film (HFF). There, DOK.education will show the award-winning films on a big cinema screen. Save the date! Of course, all those interested are cordially invited to attend the award ceremony – but it is a particular pleasure to attend if you have submitted a film beforehand. Therefore: Let's go!

More information is available here or write your questions to Julia Kern at education@dokfest-muenchen.de.
