They are award winning producers of factual and history documentaries - see their website: www.redcedarproductions.com.au ![]() Joining the international film community.Red Cedar Productions from the Hunter Valley in NSW Australia. We have a new documentary completing its post production in August 2010. We will be looking to enter it into the most appropriate film festivals around the world. Any advice would be appreciated. The film is called LAST STAND AT NYMBOIDA and is about 30 underground miners who in 1970 took over their mine in an unprecented move, to keep the mine operating and save their jobs during tough economic times. One interview subject is Professor Tom Kochan from MIT Boston, Labor Advisor to President Barak Obama, who cites this event as unprecedented in world labor history. 15.07.2010 | Diane@RedCedar's blog Cat. : 1970s Advisor to President Barak Obama Australia Barack Obama Barak Barak Obama CDATA Coal miners making history in Australia HUNTER Illinois Labor LAST STAND AT NYMBOIDA and MIT Nymboida Person Career president professor Tom Kochan tough underground pick and shovel miners United States XML Independent
