Everybody knows about "Everybody knows" now
Everybody Knows starring Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem has finally screened in Cannes as the opener to the Film Festival, but for those who didn't get to see it, they're probably wondering, "how was it?" Well early responses are all positive, with one person even saying "I'd give it a five out of five", praising the acting and the emotional thrill ride the movie takes the audience. Other praises include the director's (Asghar Farhadi) take on the story as well as his writing and how he could take a simple idea and expound on it; overall a great start to the 71st Cannes Film Festival, now let's see if any will top this.
