An Oasis of Calm and Serenity during the Cannes Film Festival

May11 - 22, 2011

On Wednesday, May 11,2011 The Lotus Lounge will open itsdoors in the renown Carlton Hotel on La Croisette Boulevard catering to movie professionals only for theduration of the Festival.

For many years, The Lotus Lounge was locatedon a commercial beach close to the Palais des Festivals and hosted some ofCannes' most coveted parties. This year, The Lotus Lounge is moving toCannes' landmark to better accommodate the privacy of its clients: celebritiesand movie industry professionals. Thisprivate lounge offers easy access from the hotel main entrance and aprivate entrance on Rue du Canada.

This exclusive location is a haven of peace, stepsaway from La Croisette's tumult and noisy scene. It allows an intimate, relaxed, yet sophisticated atmosphere and offers amenities such as a large bar,WIFI access, and plasma screens for running non stop video (commercials, trailers, etc.).

The Lotus Lounge is sponsored by Tesiro, one of the most exquisite jewelers whose diamonds adornedA-list celebrities on red carpets around the world. Specifically designed to beworn in the spotlight, Tesiro'stimeless treasures are unveiled in Cannes for the very first time. Theyrepresent success, spirituality, social status, and taste. A Chinese company, Tesiro has inherited over 550 years ofdiamond cutting craftsmanship from Belgium and its design center is located inthe ancient Italian city of Valenza. This fusion of Asian and European know-howshowcases the true international spirit of the Cannes Film Festival.

The Lotus Lounge also presents in exclusivity Château Laulan Ducos' exceptional wines from Bordeaux. The origins of Laulan Ducos can be traced back to atleast 1460, when it was part of the feudal Loirac seigneury. The property has22 hectares of vines situated on a gravelly outcrop and is planted withCabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. In recent years ChâteauLaulan Ducos has gained areputation for producing some of the best Cru Bourgeois wines.

From 9am to 5pm daily, The Lotus Lounge servesas an interview center and hosts press-junkets for movies in or out ofcompetition. It is one of the most quiet, serene and comfortable spaces inCannes providing partners with a premium quality area. After 6pm, The LotusLounge welcomes privatecocktail parties and larger events.
