Fabrique de Cinéma du Monde at The Cinema du Monde pavilion

12 young directors from Africa, Eastern Europa, Asia, Latin America have been invited to take part in the FABRIQUE DES CINÉMAS DU MONDE which is a programme that the LES CINÉMAS DU MONDE PAVILION has implemented to favour the emergence of new talents.

You are invited to TO MEET'UP with our delegation of producers and directors.
To share your experience, to encourage coproduction opportunities, to stimulate and support international creativity, to promote cultural diversity...

there will be  ONE TO ONE SESSIONS on
MONDAY MAY 16, WEDNESDAY MAY 18 and THURSDAY MAY 19 from 2:00-4:00pm on the CINEMAS DU MONDE PAVILLION (Village International n°112).

You'll find attached a larger description of their film project and a list of their screenings, more complete informations are available on demand.
The 2011 artistic delegation is mainly comprised of young talent who are preparing their 1st or 2nd film and include :

The Cinémas du Monde Pavilion, in the heart of the Cannes Film Festival's international village, has a triple aim:

  • to raise the profile of film-making in Africa, the Caribbean, the Pacific, Asia, Latin America, the Near and Middle East, and Central and Eastern Europe
  • to provide an opportunity for cinema professionals to meet up and network
  • to support the development and distribution of films promoted by the artistic delegation
