The Festival de Cannes is holding the 6th Edition of the Short Film Corner from May 13th to 22nd 2009

  • Dedicated Area for Shorts

Located in the Palais des Festivals, the Short Film Corner is a huge area open to all the professionals registered with the Festival de Cannes and the Marché du Film.

  • A meeting place for professionals from all over the world:

Directors, producers, buyers and festival programmers attending the Short Film Corner in quest of rare gems.

  • Your film viewable during the whole festival:

40 viewing booths in which all the registered shorts are viewable on demand on interactive screens during the whole event. On the spot, you will receive a daily listing of everyone who has watched your film.
3 mini screening rooms (3/6/9 seats - on-site reservation) are available for you to showcase your film to a small group of relevant professionals.

  • Daily cocktail of events

Every day, the Short Film Corner holds conferences and masterclasses on short film issues (diffusion, institutional financing, new technologies, film music, etc.).
At the end of the day, the now famous Short Film Corner Happy Hour lets you continue chatting and meet new people with a hospitality drink.

  • An International Programme

The Short Film Corner proposes films from all over the world, most previously unseen, as well as the films included in the Official Competition, the Cinéfondation, the Director's Fortnight and Critic's Week.

  • Promotional Tools

- Your film referenced on www.shortfilmcorner.com and in the Short Film Corner's catalogue.
- Short Film Corner adverts in the daily editions of Le Film Français and Cannes Market News,
- Access to www.cinando.com, the largest film industry database.

  • Submit your film

Simply register at the www.shortfilmcorner.com and send you film until April 18th 2009, when registration will close.

  • Registration

The short must have been produced after January 1st, 2008
The film must be under 35 minutes long
Only one film by director
The short must not have been registered at the Short Film Corner in a past edition
All films must be submitted in an English or French version or with subtitles in French or English in a DigiBeta, Beta SP, DV or DVD format.
Registration includes your film's digitalisation, its listing in the Short Film Corner catalogue, the Festival de Cannes access badge and unlimited access to cinando.com the largest database for the international film industry

The 95 €uros registration fee includes your film's digitalisation, its listing in the Short Film Corner catalogue, the Festival de Cannes access badge and unlimited access to cinando.com the largest database for the international film industry.
