CONFINED BUT DETERMINED

Following the announcement of the President of the French Republic on October 28, the whole cultural life of the country is once again at a standstill.

In this context, we would like to express our solidarity and empathy with all of the cultural actors (artists, professionals of the live performing arts, venues and events) together with the whole of the cinema branch (cinemas, cancelled festivals, producers, distributors, technicians) and all the filmakers whose films have remained without showings in 2020.

Although the 42nd Festival des 3 Continents cannot be held in its usual form, we are:

Determined to mobilise our efforts around what is the essence of the Festival des 3 Continents;

Determined to find audiences again in the cinemas as soon as they reopen;

Determined to give support to the films and their authors by giving them screens and an audience once more;

We will communicate our new proposals during an online Press Conference, on November 10.
