I reek along at disputes violent,
To hide away the pang of foam.
In no idea, I keep silence.
I am calm, if, I clearly know.

And yet, I haven't grown smarter.
I grew indifferent, instead.
I lie in smiles, I have a gut, yet.
I shake hands with the shit unsaid.

Do take the hazard, all untamed,
To follow two diff'rent routes.
You can't play with the same cards' stake,
With God and Devil, I concude.

I give up my wrath, in discord.
I paint, in acrid stains, my heart, so.
I think all in four-letter words,
But my expressions are all subtle.

I do divide all folks by
Their gestures, glances and endeavors.
To my sweet buds, I'll pour wine.
Along with foes, I won't drink ever.

By the night I sip bitter-sweet wines;
Over my thoughts, of that earthly boon:
I am awfully aged and wise,
But yet younger than I will be, soon.
Tr. in April, 2020, in Moscow PS of the translator. I find the tonality to be highly renderable, so the prosodic pattern is duly saved, along with the meter. The excerpts are going to attract an audience of English native speakers, and it won't be so as extracts from this poet in ivrite were read only by his former compats. Noway, why on earth?
