‘Ecotopia’ Wins The ‘Best Film Award’ in Ankara

23rd Ankara International Film Festival winners are  announced with a closing ceremony at MEB Sura in Ankara. ‘Ecotopia’ by Yüksel Aksu is crowned with the ‘Best Film Award’ in National Feature Film Competition category.

The jurors, Prof. Sami Sekeroglu, Osman Şahin, Cigdem Vitrinel, Cüneyt Cebenoyan  and Dogan Sarıgüzel also determined  the winners of the following categories;

Best Film
ECOTOPIA - ‘Entelköy Efeköy’e Karşı’ – Yüksel Aksu

Mahmut Tali Öngören Special Award
LOVE AND REVOLUTION - ‘Aşk ve Devrim’ – F. Serkan Acar

Best Director

Ankara International Film Festival was established in 1988 and it is one of the longest running film festivals in Turkey. The festival is dedicated to present the screening of films that have no chance to be screened in commercial cinemas.
