Fontevraud international residency program

Are you an animated film author and have a personal and original film project? If you need to devote some time for this project to research, write, create in a peaceful and inspiring atmosphere far from daily life, you can now apply for the October 2018 one month residency program in the Abbey of Fontevraud (France).

Application deadlines are November 8th 2017 for foreign candidates and April 4th, 2018 for french candidates.

Vous êtes auteur de films d’animation et porteur d’un nouveau projet de film personnel et original ? Votre projet nécessite un temps de recherche, d’écriture et de création libre, dans un cadre inspirant et reposant, loin des sollicitations de la vie quotidienne. Vous pouvez dès maintenant soumettre votre candidature pour un mois de résidence à l’Abbaye de Fontevraud en octobre 2018.

Les dates limites de candidatures sont le 8 novembre 2017 pour les candidats étrangers et le 4 avril 2018 pour les candidats français.

This residency program, coproduced by the NEF Animation and the Abbey of Fontevraud, receives the financial support of the French Ministry of Culture and Communication, through the «Odyssée» program of the Association of Cultural Encounter Centres (ACCR).

It also enjoys the partnership of Annecy Animated Film Festival, Meknes Animated Film Festival, Angers European First Film Festival and Folimage Young Audience Residency.
