Guillermo del Toro’s film PAN'S LABYRINTH (EL LABERINTO DEL FAUNO), recently awarded with six Oscar nominations, will have its long awaited Dutch premiere at the 23rd Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival.

PAN’S LABYRINTH takes place during the Spanish Civil War and tells the story of a little girl trying to escape the horrors of war and the troublesome relation with her stepfather by seeking refuge in a fairy tale fantasy world. There she meets a faun who gives her assignments to test her persistence.

PAN’S LABYRINTH will be released in Dutch cinemas shortly after the Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival.
