Molodist will feature 10 Oscar nominees.10 OSCAR NOMINEES AT MOLODIST IFF including “The Past” by Iranian Oscar-winning director Asghar Farhadi starring Bérénice Bejo; Dutch “Borgman” by Alex van Warmerdam that competed for Palme d’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival; Swedish "Eat, sleep, die" by Gabriela Pichler that won the Audience Award at Critics’ Week of the Venice Film Festival; and Slovakia’s candidate for Oscar “My Dog Killer” by Mira Fornay that won the Tiger Award at Rotterdam IFF. The screening of “Borgman”, a new film by Alex van Warmerdam, is this festival’s special event. The movie competed for the Palme d’Or of this year’s Cannes Film Festival. The Netherlands chose “Borgman” as its entry for next year's Best Foreign Language Film Oscar. Jan Bijvoet, who performed the main part in the film, will visit Molodist to present his work.
“Molodist” Film Festival will take place on October 19-27 in Kyiv. The screenings will be held in “Kyiv”, “Zhovten”, “Kinopanorama” and “Kyivska Rus” cinemas.
