Marion Hänsel
Director, producer
Belgium 

Marion Hänsel was born in 1949 in Marseille and grew up in Antwerp. She set up her own company, Man's Films in 1977. She produced all of the eleven films she directed, and won many international prizes. Marion Hänsel also produced or co-produced more than 10 feature films of other directors ("La Puritaine," "No Man’s Land"). Retrospectives of her work are regularly organized all over the world. In 1987, Marion Hänsel was named Belgian "Woman of the year". From 1988 until 1990, she was a President of the French Community Film Selection Board. She was reelected as President in 1996–1997 and in 2002–2003.



Babis Makridis
Director
Greece 

Born in Greece in 1970. He studied film in the Stavrakos Film School. He is working as a commercial director based in Athens Greece. He directs a huge number of commercials and some music videos. His short film "The Last Fakir" (2005) was awarded the Newcomer's Prize at the Drama Short Film Festival, Greece. His first feature film "L" was in competition at the Rotterdam IFF and Sundance, and won Grand Prix of the 2012 Molodist IFF.

 

 

Dinara Drukarova
Actress
Russia – France

When a 12-year-old, Dinara debuted in Vitalii Kanievski’s "Freeze – Die – Come to Life" awarded with a Golden Camera at IFF in Cannes in 1990. She became truly famous after her performance in "On Freaks and Humans" (Pro urodov i lyudey) by Alexey Balabanov. In 1990s she moved to France. In 1998 Drukarova was nominated by European Film Academy for the best European actress. For her role in "Since Otar has left" (Depuis qu'Otar est parti), she was nominated for Cesar as the most promising actress. In 2010 Drukarova played Olga Gainsbourg in "Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life", and in 2012 – in Michael Haneke’s feature "Amour".

 

Viktor Matizen
Film critic
Russia

An alternative Russian film critic, president of The Russian Guild of Film Critics (2003–2011), Chairman of Expert Council of "The White Elephant" film award, curator of Guild's website kinopressa.ru. He studied at Screenwriting and Film Criticism department of VGIK, researching cinematic adaptation. He did an incredible variety of jobs, from decorator to ferns collector. He is a book writer ("Paratherapy of Soviet cinema", "Banter as cultural phenomenon", "Madness in Gnezdnikovsky", "Millstone", an author of numerous review articles, book reviews, reports and interviews with well-known filmmakers.

 

Viktoria Tigipko 
President of the Odessa IFF
Ukraine

The President of the Odessa International Film Festival since 2010, a member of the OIFF’s International Competition Jury. Viktoria is also the Executive Director of the TA Venture fund and organizes IDCEE. IT and Innovation conference for IT-entrepreneurs. She studied economics and management at Ukrainian, European, and American universities. She speaks English, German, French, and Italian. Besides film, Viktoria is keenly interested in jazz, contemporary art, yoga, and downhill skiing.

Serhiy Trymbach

Honored Artist of Ukraine, Oleksandr Dovzhenko State Prize winner. Born in 1950 in Kirovohradska oblast. Wrote and compiled books on national film culture, including a fundamental work titled "Oleksandr Dovzhenko. Twilight of the Gods"; wrote hundreds of articles and reviews published in leading Ukrainian and Russian media. Non-fiction screenwriter. Since 1994 has worked as a President of Film Critics’ Association at the National Filmmakers Union of Ukraine. Also works at the Department of Cinematographic Studies at the Institute of Art Criticism, Folklore Studies, and Ethnology at NAS of Ukraine. Since 2009 is a Head of the National Filmmakers Union of Ukraine.



Maksym Onopriyenko
Film and TV Producer
Ukraine

A successful producer of several projects for Ukrainian and Russian television: feature films, TV series, and reality shows. The feature "Rock’n’Ball" produced by him premiered at Marche du Film during IFF in Cannes, 2011. The film participated in more than 20 festivals around Europe, the US, and Brazil. In particular, it was awarded at The Accolade Film Awards, in California, the US, and Festival of Nations, Austria. The film received a special award for the leading role at the 41st Molodist IFF. In 2012–2013 produced a documentary series "Ukraine: Forgotten History".

 

Natalia Mokritskaya
Producer, film critic
Russia

Born in 1969 in Chișinău, Moldova. Studied at the Foreign Languages department at Moscow State University (1986-1988). In 1992 graduated from the Screenwriting and Film Criticism department of VGIK. Since 1993 has worked as a Head of Festival Programs department at CJSC Kinocentr, Advertising and PR Director at VEST (Miramax (Russia), Paradiz film production, and FASHION TV channel. Since 2005, the general director of Novyie Liudi film production. Her work includes the production of "Playing the Victim" (2006, directed by Kirill Serebrennikov), Grand Prix at the IFF in Rome.



Victoria Malektorovych
Actress
Ukraine

Born in 1972 in Yenakieve, Ukraine. In 1993 graduated from theatrical department of Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University. Has been working on stage since 1993. Performed at Ivan Franko National Drama Theater in Kyiv. Her cinematic work started in 1994 with a leading role in "Tsarivna" (screen version of Olha Kobylianska’s story of the same title). Lives in Vienna, Austria. Malektorovych acts in Austrian and German films ("Blue Moon", "Ein Job", "Mutterglück"), and also continues to work in Ukraine and Russia.

Kostiantyn Hnatenko
Writer, singer
Ukraine

Member of the Writers Union of Ukraine, poet, composer, performer, publicist, TV-host. Author of "Vision" and "Amigo", as well as various books for children. Together with a group of upholders, in 1995, created first two homoerotic shows on Ukrainian TV, "I’m Not a Monster" and "A Soldier of Love". He is also the author of numerous hit songs performed by known Ukrainian popular singers. Discography: song albums "Kyiv – Odessa", "I Love You, You Know It", solo project "Trendy Dude", and an audio album of fairy tales for children.


Kseniia Khrabrykh
Director
Russia

Lives and works in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. She directs documentaries and coordinates interactive projects. Author of the interactive project "Art of Being Yourself" – the Best Documentary Project at the Digital Media Art's Forum, 2012. Since 2011, has worked in cooperation with the "Coming Out" LGBT organization and the International Queer Culture Festival "Queerfest". Directs and curates a cross-media project, "I Am 20 Years Old". Teaches Editing and Cinematography at International Institute of Photography and Cinema, Saint-Petersburg, Russia. 


Zeki Peynirci
Curator
Turkey

Born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1986. He studied Film and Psychology at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul and following his graduation, for 3 years he has been working as a programmer at !f Istanbul International Independent Film Festival and curator of its queer section Rainbow Films. Meanwhile, he has been experimenting with camera and working with an internationally acclaimed director Yeşim Ustaoğlu at Ustaoglu Film Production for her last feature film "Araf / Somewhere in Between" and now developing her upcoming feature film.

Dmytro Desyateryk
Ukraine

Film critic and journalist. Has been working as a columnist in "Den" (The Day) newspaper (Kyiv) since 1999. Contributes to the "Art of Cinema" magazine (Moscow). Made publications in Italy and Czech Republic. Desyateryk is the author and compiler of the "Alternative Culture. Encyclopedia" book. His critical specialization is cinema and visual arts.

Sven Gerrets
The Netherlands

Was born in South-Africa, grew up in the Netherlands. Sven Gerrets worked as a producer and director in television as well as a freelance contributor for magazines and newspapers. He gave film workshops in Iraq, produced photography projects in Argentina and made several small documentaries. Currently he is one of the writers about cinema for VPRO, a Dutch broadcast and magazine.

Mohammad Abdi
Iran

Abdi had been an editor-in-chief of "Seventh Art", a theoretic magazine on film and cinema. He published ten books, including "Film Guide" on world cinema and "Gharibeh-e Bozorg" (The Great Stranger) about the work of great Iranian filmmaker Bahram Bezai. Since 2005, Abdi lives in London and works as an independent film critic and writer.

Susanne Charlotte Knudstorp
Denmark

Susanne Knudstorp became Cand.theol. in 1988 and was a minister in the Danisk Folkechurch since 1989. Since 2008 she has been sitting in the management of the Danish club Church and Film. She has written film announcements to a Danish Christian Newspaper and arranged seminars with films and lectures.

Hakan Holmlund
Sweden

Hakan Holmlund is a former Foreign Corespondent of the Swedish Radio & TV in Germany and a former journalist on theatre, film and literature. Since 2005 he is a minister in the Lutheran Church of Sweden and now a vicar of a parish in central Stockholmand. He is active in the filmwork of the church since 2009.

Oksana Sokolyanska
Ukraine

Studied English Language and Literature at the Linguistic University in Kyiv. Now she is a volunteer on Radio Maria in Catholic Media Center, English teacher at Kyiv school No 315.

Illia Svidler
Ukraine

Journalist, producer, and a President of "CinemaHall" international organization. He is an author and initiator of the "CinemaHall film workshop" project. Illia started his career with the establishment of a film club at Dnipropetrovsk National University. 

Eric Schär
Switzeland

He graduated from La Chaux-de-Fonds high school. Experimented as a cameraman. A member of "Chraemerhuus FilmNächte".

Peter Muszatics
Hungary

Hungarian filmmaker, producer and communications expert. Since 2007 communications director of CineFest – International Festival of Young Filmmakers in Miskolc, Hungary. Director and producer of several documentaries. Now he works on the film Kádár. Initiator of several media events, like Hollywood Impact (2008) and Fresh Air 1 & 2, a conference series about the tendencies of young Hungarian cinema.
