National Palace of Arts "Ukraine" is the main stage of the country and its artistic symbol. Big hall holds over 3700 seats. Its architecture provides a high level of comfort for each viewer. The most prestigious ceremonial event are held here. The most famous artists performed on this stage. So it is only logical to welcome the Molodist Film Festival guests within these walls.

+38 (044) 234-33-80, 1559 (information). Starting from 2007 Kyiv, one of the biggest Soviet cinema halls made in the Stalinist Empire style, became the center of the film festival Molodist.  Throughout the festival, in this building not only competitive (national and international), non-competitive programs and festival’s premieres are shown, but also profile events and press-conferences are organized.

Zhovten

The special spirit of democracy is native for this cinema hall, which influenced its festival of repertoire. The disposition of Zhovten is closely connected with its miscellaneous history. Opened in 1931, it quickly became the genuine center of proletarian leisure thanks to the library, rooms for chess and domino games, and especially a shooting gallery in the basement. It had not lost its popularity after complete ruination during the World War II and soon was renovated. So its not in vane that, together with Long nights of the short films and repeated showings of non-competitive program, Zhovten will demonstrate the most controversial movies of the festival: gay/lesbian films from Sunny Bunny selection.

Kinopanorama

The year 1958. The first panoramic cinema of Soviet times, it impressed the audience with a huge screen and surround sound. Currently this cinema hall is central for festival and arthouse movies, as well as for performances and creative events. Here, at the end of October in frames of Molodist festival one will find replicas of studentandshort film competition, and alsoretrospectiveand non-competition sections

Kyivska Rus

The opening of Kyivs'ka Rus was dedicated to the 1500th anniversary of foundation of Kyiv city. It hapened in 1982 in the place of a former Komunar cimena hall. In the early 1990s it was honored by the visits of Princess Diana and Margaret Thatcher. Today, after theafter overhaul, Kyivs'ka Rus is proud of the biggest cinema screens in Ukraine, 26 X 11 meters in size. Festival audience is welcomed to watch the latest movies of non-competition program here.

Dom Master Class Education and Culture

At the modern Dom Master Class Education and Culture one will find the most interesting and beneficial vocations for heart and mind under the single city centre roof. During the year, besides classes in foreign languages, drama, choreography, and music, adults and children have chance to visit the creative cinema studio and watch movies of a wide range. In days of Molodist film festival, Master Klass centre will warmly welcome the guests of Molodist Talent Workshop.

 

BOAT MEETING

Bakkara Art-Hotel

The Bakkara Art Hotel is located on the 'Venice Beach' of Dnipro, looking out over the picturesque right bank of the river. There, one finds the golden domes of the ancient Pecherska Lavra cave monastery and the Botanical Garden, which are iconic for Kyiv. Just as the visitors of Bakkara Art Hotel get into the heart of the city, the guests of the festival's Boat Meeting.
