Through the Pane

Director: Dawn Westlake.

 The filmmaker's 87-year-old father shares reflections on life through panes of glass while facing the pain of losing his wife of 62 years. With 'cosmic perspective', he takes comfort in the rhythms of nature to cope with the unpredictable, non-linear qualities of grief.

"Through the Pane" is the latest short film from Ron de Cana Productions, Inc. Shot on the Canon 6D and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro by Barcelona-based DP/Editor Pol Carrizo-Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona, the film was made in Wheaton, IL, USA in the childhood home of director/producer Dawn Westlake.
