"The Martini Effect" was selected to the 8th Thess International Film Festival for October 25-29, 2014 in Thessaloniki, Greece. Festival director Yiannis Zachopoulos received over 1,000 entries for this edition of the festival. "The Martini Effect" tells the story of a couple who is "underwater" on their home and unable to pay their mortgage due to some personal problems and bad choices. "The Martini Effect" has been selected to compete in the international program of the 2014 Fenaco Peru Film Festival held in Cuzco, from November 12-15, 2014. Director/producer/writer Dawn Westlake will be in attendance. The film was shot on the Canon C300 by Brandon Bondehagen in Los Angeles and Malibu.
