"Pooling", a breakdance/animation/visual effects hybrid film by Dawn Westlake, was accepted to the FerFilm Festival in Ferizaj, Kosovo for April 2-6, 2019. "Pooling" features the dancing/choreography of Marc "Markitus" Carrizo Vilarroig of Brodas Bros. An original score was composed for the film by Joan Armand Forero of Praxis. Written and helmed by Dawn Westlake, FROM ON HIGH tells the story of a young Syrian refugee girl who finds a better life in Europe. The film has won 7 awards, in the USA, Spain and Italy, including a BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY award for Pol Carrizo Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona and a BEST SOUNDTRACK award for the film's composer, GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs.

"Scrappy" was selected to the 5th annual FerFilm Festival in Ferizaj, Kosovo for September 2-6, 2017. Helmed and adapted for the screen by Dawn Westlake, "Scrappy" is based on her father Donald G. Westlake's poem of the same name which won the Studs Terkel Humanities Award in 1999. It recounts a real-life anecdote from Westlake's childhood when he had to stand up to the gun culture in rural Illinois, during the 1930s.

"Through the Pane" will play the FerFilm Fest in Ferizaj, Kosovo from September 2-6, 2016.
Helmed by Dawn Westlake and based on a memoir chapter by her father Donald G. Westlake, "Through the Pane" was shot/edited by Pol Carrizo-Vilarroig and scored by Gregory Johnson of Acoustic Labs. Gregory was recently nominated for the Peer Raben Music Award for the film's score by SoundTrack_Cologne in Germany.

Out of 400 submissions, "Games People Play", a noir comedy written and helmed by Dawn Westlake, will represent the USA in Ferizaj, Kosovo in the FerFilm Fest September 2-6, 2015. The film was shot on the CanonC500 by Jon Carr who also did the editing and vfx. "Games People Play" stars David Razowsky, Mark Jacobson and Westlake herself and features an original score by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs.

"The Martini Effect" by Dawn Westlake has received an early acceptance from FerFilm Festival in Ferizaj, Kosovo for July 2014. Shot & edited by Brandon Bondehagen on Canon's C300, the film was scored by Alvarez-sponsored guitarist Gregory Johnson of Acoustic Labs. "The Martini Effect" stars Emanuele Secci, Dawn Westlake, David Razowsky & Susan Messing. It was shot on location in Los Angeles, Malibu, Puerto Rico and Barbados in 2013.

"A.L.I.C.E." (2010) will represent the US in the short film competition of the Fer Film Fest in Ferizaj, Kosovo, October 2-6, 2013. This is the 42nd festival acceptance for "A.L.I.C.E.". The film stars Joey D'Auria, Dawn Westlake, Aketza Lopez and is narrated by David Razowsky. Cinematography is by Francesco Uboldi; Editing by Brandon Bondehagen. Anibar NGO is an organization founded in 2010 by a group of young promising arts activists, who have realized their vision and demonstrated their capabilities from the onset of Anibar’s activities. Anibar’s mission is to encourage young people, especially young artists, to experiment and work with animation in order to express their ideas and worldview. Anibar is working towards its overall goal with capacity-building activities, such as training seminars and workshops, film screenings, debates, and other activities that provide more visibility for emerging artists.
Anibar International Animation Festival. The main annual event of the organization is the Anibar International the Festival, which takes place in the city of Peja, Kosovo during August. The Festival was first organized in 2010 and has quickly become an important cultural event for the city of Peja. Anibar is currently the only animation festival in Kosovo.
