Adrian Sitaru's film Best Intentions won the Best Director and Best Actor awards (Bogdan Dumitrace) at Locarno International Film Festival's 46th edition. The Romanian-Hungarian co-production was presented as project at Sofia Meetings in 2010. Director Andrey Paounov's The Boy Who Was a King was selected for “Reel to Reel”, Toronto International Film Festival's documentary section.
