Secondary footage was also shot in Vilafranca del Penedes, Spain and Font Romeu, France. Carrizo also did the editing and considerable visual effects work.
An original score was composed by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs. "terroir" marks the professional acting debut of 4-yr-old Lilly Johnson who plays Westlake at age 4, and her mother in approximately 1930.
