The third day of the International Family Film Festival is scheduled to be a bonanza of riches for the screenwriters. Starting at 10 am with a Panel led by the acclaimed Founder and Director of the Writer's Boot Camp, Jeffrey Gordon, followed by an emersive writer's session led by The Writer's Workshop after lunch, and then a two hour "Pitch Me" experience where writers are invited to bring material to pitch for feedback from a panel of acquisitions professionals in the film industry.
The Screenwriters Showcase begins at 4:45pm in the Chaplin Theater at the Raleigh Studios in Hollywood. Each of the Semi-Finalist screenwriter's in the competition has been asked to select a short excerpt from their script to be prepared for a staged reading by professional actors. Following each of the presentations the writer's will be introduced and be involved in an open discussion with the attending audience.
The Screenwriters Showcase is followed immediately by a Screenwriter's Wrap Party where the winners of the Screenwriters Competition will be announced and the IFFFAwards will be given.
This is a full day of events scheduled to enrich and promote the screenwriter. Space is limited so be sure to reserve your tickets for each Panel, the Showcase and for the Wrap party. Tickets for the three Panels are $15 each. The Wrap Party is $25 per ticket. All Screenwriting Finalists are given complimentary admissions to the Showcase and to the Wrap Party. The Writer's Boot Camp
