Born and educated in England, Huck attended the University of Westminster, receiving a degree in Business Studies. He later attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, commissioning in to the Royal Signals.

Huck worked for a number of years as a journalist, specializing in interviews for various international magazines. He wrote and directed the short film”THREE” and subsequently wrote and directed the short film “WEEKEND” which was accepted at various film festivals, including the BBC British, Huesca and IK/New Zealand film series.

Taking a break from writing the script for “DARK SPIRITS”, Huck served as the officer commanding the Combat Camera Team for Multi-National Division South East Iraq, in order to part self finance the movie.

Huck lives and writes in Prague in the Czech Republic and continues to serve with the British Army as a Captain in the Media Operations Group.

Dark Spirits is his debut feature film as writer and director.
