Marthi films are known for good scripts and contents. And MATI MAY of Chitra Palekar, MATI MAY is no exception. It is a story about a grave keeper. The film is adopted from Mahashweta devi’s original story. Chitra preferred to give Varadi flavor of Marathi language as the film is shot in remote village of Amarawati districts of Maharashtra.
