'Tango Underpants', a hot Aussie short film!

Aussie director/producer Miranda Edmonds with 'Tango Underpants' at Cinefest OZ, 2012

Aussie director/producer Miranda Edmonds' (Impian Films) latest venture is a short film entitled: 'Tango Underpants' (2012); it first began to create a buzz in August at Cinefest OZ 2012, and continues to do so during its development and production. Here's what Miranda had to say about this new, and red, innovative film. :)

"'Tango Underpants' is a short film based a short story by Carolyn Swindall, and adapted by John Collee ('Happy Feet', 'Master and Commander'). It is about a young Australia backpacker who travels to Argentina and discovers not only the wonders of the tango but also the vital importance of the right underwear! And will star the extraordinarily talented Emma Booth.

'Tango Underpants' will be directed by the brother and sister team Miranda and Khrob Edmonds. Miranda attended Cinefestoz this year: "It was such a thrill to be at Cinefest again this year. They have screened our first two shorts and we'll be hoping to premiere 'Tango Underpants' here too! It was a great opportunity to meet Emma and to drum up some support for our crowd funding for the film we are launching on:"

Stephen Van Mil and Tania Chambers (Impian Films) are executive producers of the film.
