Rio de Janeiro/Quebec 14/05/2015 - The International Uranium Film Festival thanks Canadian movie star Karine Vanasse for her support and presence at the opening of the festival in Quebec City, April 2015.  "We are very honoured to have stars like Karine Vanasse or like the famous Indian actress Amala Akkineni from Hyderabad on our side", says the Festival´s executive director Marcia Gomes de Oliveira.

The question of nuclear power is an important but also at the same time a complicated and difficult issue. "Stars are important to communicate the message of the International Uranium Film Festival and to stimulate the open discussion about nuclear power in our societies."
