Shawn retired from Corporate America to pursue an acting career. It all started when she was convinced by a coworker to do a photo shoot. She was persuaded to submit one of her photos into a online model contest to represent your state, she was pleasantly surprised that she won for the state of Georgia, with a picture from her first photo shoot. Along with acting she has establishment herself as a national print ad and commercial model representing Mark Spain Realtor, Golden Corral, Books-A-Million and many other major brands. Modeling slowly progressed into acting and within a few short years she has established herself as a accomplished supporting actress in Atlanta. She puts her heart and soul into her work and strives to bring an honest portrayal to any character whether it is a vindictive mother, grieving wife, loving wife, teacher, counselor, community activist or judge. She is well known for her role of Mrs. Ellis in the 2020 NAACP nominated film "Mr. & Mrs. Ellis". She also has a quick wit about herself, which allotted her to co-star on "The Ms. Pat Show".
