RIFF 2020: Second and final list of films released

Jaipur: 13 January 2020: The 6th edition of Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) will be organised by RIFF Film Club from Saturday, 18 January, to Wednesday, 22 January, 2020 at Jawahar Kala Kendra and Cinépolis, World Trade Park, JLN Marg, Jaipur, on the theme of 5 Years of RIFF & 150 Years of Mahatma Gandhi.

The second list of films to be screened during the festival has been released, which includes the short film Wave, Directed by Dishant Soni, documentary film Shiddat, Directed by Prakash Soni, French documentary Film Rue Bonaparte, Directed by Isabelle Balducchi, Avishkar Bhardwaj Directed short film Vitha, documentary Film Behind the Bars, Directed By Dev Kanya Thakur, short film 3rd Stanza, Directed by Tarun Wadhwa,

feature film Mooso, Directed by Deepankar Prakash (Actor Yashpal Sharma will be present), National Film Award Winning film Hellaro, Directed by Abhishek Shah,

short film Woh Pal, Directed by Nilesh Bhaskar Naik, feature film Mai Ghat, Directed by Ananth Mahadevan (Film Director and Actor Ananth Mahadevan will be present), short film Painful Pride, Directed by Saumitra Singh (Actor Rituraj Singh will be present),

feature film  Dhumkkudiya, Directed by Nandlal Nayak,

short film White Pebble, Directed by Dilip Sood , Shantanu Sen Directed feature film Water Burial, and Directed by Shubham Kumar, documentary film, The Art of Dying.

Also making it to the final selection are the films Level 13, Directed by Samir Tewari, and Chintu, Directed by Anubhav Anand (Actor Anoop Soni and Actress Sandhya Mridul will be present),

Masala Steps, directed by Rohit Gupta (Actor Vikram Kochhar will remain present), short film Tarang, Directed by Sanjay Patil, the short film Ek Cup Chai, Directed by Anushree Dixit, the animation film Ek Cup Chaha, Directed by Sumit Yempalle, short film Aapke Aa Jaane Se, directed by Shiladitya Bora , the short film A Tribute To Rituparno Ghosh, Directed by Ram Kamal Mukherjee, the short film Masala Steps, Directed by Rohit Gupta, the feature film Fagun Haoay, Directed by Tauquir Ahmed, the short film Silent Ties, Directed by Sai Deodhar , short film Cakewalk, Directed by Ram Kamal Mukherjee, short film Meal, Directed by Abhiroop Basu and the feature film Raahgir, Directed by Goutam Ghose.

The list also includes the Music Video Album Jewels & Fame, Directed by Arpit Gangwal and Produced by Angels Music Academy.

Siraj Syed is a film-critic since 1970 and a Former President of the Freelance Film Journalists' Combine of India.

He is the India Correspondent of FilmFestivals.com and a member of FIPRESCI, the international Federation of Film Critics, Munich, Germany

Siraj Syed has contributed over 1,015 articles on cinema, international film festivals, conventions, exhibitions, etc., most recently, at IFFI (Goa), MIFF (Mumbai), MFF/MAMI (Mumbai) and CommunicAsia (Singapore). He often edits film festival daily bulletins.

He is also an actor and a dubbing artiste. Further, he has been teaching media, acting and dubbing at over 30 institutes in India and Singapore, since 1984.
