Danish film ‘The Hunt’ (2012) screened at the 24th Palm Springs International Film Festival. Directed by Thomas Vinterberg (Director of ‘The Celebration’, 1998, and co-founder of Dogme Films, Denmark) the film is about a modern day witch hunt where the main character ‘Lucas’ (played by Mads Mikkelsen) is innocently accused of child molestation and made an outcast in his hometown. The film won Best Actor award at 2012 Cannes Film Festival and the Ecumenical Prize.
