OFF PLUS CAMERAOFF PLUS CAMERA is a major event devoted to Polish and international independent cinema organized by The Society for Independent and Other Arts OFF CAMERA and Krakow Festival Office since 2008. . Our key objective is to give support to the filmmakers at the beginning of their careers. The most important element of the festival is the international competition, in which 12 independent directors from all over the world compete for the Krakow Film Award of $100,000. The winner is selected by an international jury and the award is given by the President of Krakow. Each year, approximately 100 films are presented during more than 200 screenings. Our Festival aspires to show – besides the newest productions – the classics of underground cinema through retrospective and tribute sections.  13 directors, one movie!“13 incarnations of Tomasz M.” is a short movie created by internauts using mobile phones. It will be announced during 4thedition of international film festival Off Plus Camera. During almost 3 months (from 5th January till 25th march 2011) at www.tomaszm.com there will be a possibility to trace how a short movie is being developed, the author of which could be everyone. What you need to do is to record a simple shot, connected with the main character of the plot, Tomasz M: it could be a steady shot, abstract impression, video with a narrator or a piece combined of few frames. The movie will consist of 13. 90-seconds episodes – the first and the last will be directed by editors of internet television lookr.tv (originators of the competition). From all applied movies jury will choose the most interesting, these movies will become a part of the final story dedicated to TomaszM. Every week Lookr.tv will publish at www.tomaszm.com descriptions of another incarnations of the main character and inspiring tips for participants of the project. Tips will also be available at the largest Polish social websites: wykop.pl, fotka.pl, spryciarze.pl and gossip service: kozaczek.pl. Original version of the movie “13 incarnations Tomasz M.” composed of the episodes sent by internauts, which will be presented in Cracow at “Off Plus Camera”, will be created by a musician, youtube artist, author of “Forfiter Blues” - CeZik. See what you can win: Premiere of the movie will be held in April during 4th edition of international film festival Off Plus Camera. Names of authors of all movies used in final version of “13 incarnations Tomasz M.” will be mentioned in credentials. What is more all of them will get tickets for premiere in Cracow.
