Thursday, may 22, 2014 the ceremony was held at the Eden Hotel, 133 rue d'Antibes, Cannes, behind the Carlton. Since 2005, the OFF de Cannes ceremony allows discover and reward many artists, present at Cannes, during Cannes festival. This event complements the International Film Festival with a new audience and has made a quick assessment of ten years of efforts, work, belief (2005-2014). The organizers Alain ZIRAH and Anne GOMIS put under the limelight the artists who are the avantguard artists of tomorrow Cannes festival and will be references in 2020.

During a press conference preceding the event, the light is made on Alan Reeves’ book « Sex, Booze & Blues » recounting 50 years of rock with the greatest. The pianist and composer talks  anecdotes on its relations with the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, David Gilmour, Davis Bowie and all the personalities who have crossed the road of his organs Hammond which it has been declared the best player in the world. During the cocktail party, the guests also discover the ebook « Cannes festival backstage » and the last Alain Zirah’s book entitled « God has created the woman ... in her image, a goddess ». Before they leave, the guests received a goodies bag with perfume, tee-shirt and this latest book containing short texts written between 1982 and 2014, including the new Parsifal cyberpunk adaptation of Richard Wagner’s opera.

The guests sat in the auditorium and attend the presentation of the members of honor (the artists of 2014) under Alan Reeves’ chairmanship: Michael Winkler The GlitterKing, rockstar in Berlin, in customised outfits and Franck Katz, french painter from Marseilles, who presented Peace Forever.

Tribute is made for two exceptional dancers: Rudolf Noureev and Michael Jackson. After the screening of extracts of the film « Rudolf Noureev rebellious demon » by Tatiana Malova product by Svoy Pocherk (Russia), the light is done around Michael Jackson resurrection. The OFF de Cannes organizers present their new discovery, age 12, Dimitri JACKSON Junior which ignites the stage with two tracks of the King of Pop.

For the final, all the audience joined the young artist on stage to sing We are the World by Michael Jackson. In the general rejoicing, Franck Katz introduced the clip of Peace Forever, reached around the personalities of Nelson Mandela and the Dalaï Lama. In the course of that evening moving of liesse, there will not be a loser but 7 billion of winners. A beautiful lesson of humanity bringing together all the peoples and all the colors around a unifying theme for Peace in the world.
