Thanks to the support by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and the partnership with Cinema do Brasil, Carte Blanche – the Festival del film Locarno initiative aiming to showcase films in post-production – has presented seven Brazilian films. Each one was introduced by its producer to various world sales agents and festival programmers attending the Industry Days.

The jury for Carte Blanche 2014, comprising Christian Jeune (Deputy General Delegate – Festival de Cannes), Eva Morsch Kihn (Industry Department Director and Selection Board Cine en Costruccion – Cinelatino. Rencontres de Toulouse) and Vincenzo Bugno (Manager of Berlinale’s World Cinema Fund), decided to give this award of 10,000 CHF, offered by the DSC and intended to enable the film’s completion, to the film:
