The Bunker Letters are a series of Video E-mails transmitted from the political philosopher Brother Gregory after he barricaded himself in his Bunker and awaited what he believed to be the inevitable unraveling of American society. These very intense but short manifestos began to be appear right after the November Presidential election of 2008.You can read in these rants in a form of a Blog: http://thebunkerletters.blogspot.com/2010/12/brother-gregory-bunker-letters-12.htmlhttp://www.bell-jarboefilms.com/

Brother Gregory "The Bunker Letters" #12 Groundhog Day and the Opiate of the masses..

Right after theNovember Presidential election of 2008, I began to receive these strangeE-mails that appears to come via satellite communication. After having readseveral of these E-mails I began to look forward to receiving these ramblings. These page-long E-mails were at times very lucid, at other times seemingly druginduced weirdness. Because they were so unique I organized these E-mails as"The Bunker Letters". Neither the original author nor the recipient’sidentity was found after months of extensive research, The Editor.

Dear Don1001,

Hope this message finds youbefore it all goes to Hell. No time to call. I had to render all forms ofcommunication that can be traced, useless. I'm in the bunker now. No time tohesitate. Empires far stronger than our own have been ripped apart with muchless cause. Think about it, Coups always happen at night and preferably on theweekends. So tonight might be the night that the Shit-storm begins. I fear thedecision about who will supposedly lead country has been taken out of the handsof the "Little People". Remember in "Blade Runner" wherethe Inspector tells Decker "If you ain't one of us, you're "LittlePeople".  Well I'm sure thatthe “Palinites” and “Obamanistas” are arming their camps and making "TheList". You know the one, "friends & enemies". When crunch timecomes, you got to know who you can depend or who you will have to rip theirguts from their still quivering body. Ah! The adrenaline rush of high stakespower politics. Remember, power is never given, it is always taken. So iteventually it boils down to will get the Armed Forces to make a deal. And whoknows what Faustian deals will be made to deliver the mantle of the WhiteHouse. But it won't be pretty, it never is. Ask Dick.

I think I got everything Ineed. Got fuel, water, rice, beans, seeds and enough chemicals to make anythingI might need. Granted I would have liked to obtain a few more hundred rounds of.223 full-metal jacket. I'll just have to make every shot count. Well I have toset-up a grow room and microbrewery. Hope you make it. I will try tocommunicate when discretion is assured.

                             Your humble servant,

                                                             Brother Gregory
